The trio of Gaël, Billa Joints and Alexandra James team up to deliver this heartwarming piece titled “FREE” to celebrate the 155th anniversary of Juneteenth.

The track has a mellow, reflective texture and smooth drum arrangement that mesh well together with Gaël’s insightful lyrics about freedom in the purest sense. Joining them is vocalist Alexandra James who adds an ethereal and soul-gripping chorus to tie everything together. Of course, freedom is subjective to the beholder so it could range. from physical, mental, or spiritual. Regardless, it’s all about overcoming one’s inner struggles

The visuals are refreshing as well and sure captures the contemplative vibe of the song with it’s hazy and somewhat moody aesthetics. Get it on Spotify.
