Although Bahamadia gets love from core hip-hop fans, I still feel she never got the much needed shine she deserves. Lyrically one of the brightest emcees to come out of the 90s during the reign of Lil Kim, Foxy Brown etc, she set the pace with her classic debut “Kollage” and has gone on to work with big names such as The Roots, the late Guru, Talib Kweli and Erykah Badu,

Today she is stepping back to the forefront not only as an highly rated emcee but also as a producer as she presents to “Dialed Up 2” which is a direct sequel to her 2013 release of the same name. Follows the same theme of the first edition with her crafting ALL the beats on her phone and calling up hiphop luminaries such as Camp Lo’s Geechi Suede, Zion I, Kev Brown, Prozack Turner, Fat Nice, Groove Da Moast, Rasco and Dave Ghetto for that solid combination of organic beats and raw rhymes.

Dialed Up 2 is now available for stream, exclusively through Bandcamp, courtesy of her own label, B-Girl Records!
