Birmingham born, London based lyricist TrueMendous delivers the visual to the sequel of her “O.T.Y.L ” music series. Backed by a vibrant and somewhat dramatic backdrop courtesy of producer Illinformed, TrueMendous quickly shows us why she is one to watch as she delivers an engaging performance ripe with solid wordplay and sometimes self-reflective lyrics. “…People analyze regrets but due to fear won’t jump off the boat/ but me I jump before they toss the rope…“, she brings the listener closer into the action and touches on a handful of situations in her life from following her dreams, trying to keep in touch with the people in her past and for the most part trying to sane in this crazy world we live in.

The visual by Oliver Marshall is pretty zany and ingenious, to be honest. It depicts the rapper in various situations probably alluding to the myriad of things swirling in her head. From miniature, institutionalized to the true depiction of TrueMendous, the viewer gets to witness her in her true nuanced forms.

“O.T.Y.L (Part 2)” is the second single taken from her forthcoming EP HUH, which is now available for pre-order.

Get it on Apple Music, and Deezer.
