Known to take the path less travelled, Zilla Rocca once again proves why he’s the guy to watch out for. On the latest visual for ‘Shoot The Piano Player’ (off the excellent LP No Vacation For Murder, a collab with The Shadow Boxers), Zilla brings in his Wrecking Crew partner Has-Lo on a 1-2 lowdown mission. The clip is concocted in a way that carries the viewer along as the story progresses. I won’t spill the beans so you have to hit the play button to understand what I’m talking about.

Brilliant stuff if I may add!

Men whose daily bread is violence take the most cautious steps to make sure death doesn’t follow them. That is “Shoot the Piano Player“, Zilla Rocca & The Shadowboxers’ latest video off the cult favorite LP No Vacation For Murder.

Wrecking Crew co-defendants Zilla and Has-Lo outline the setup of a prodigious ivory player in the vein of Ghostface and Raekwon’s “260”. Directed by Pat Murray of Glass Canon (“Fake Surfers”, “Full Spectrum 2”, “Scallops”), “Shoot the Piano Player” was filmed in the Physick Housein Philadelphia, a historical landmark built in 1786. The three separate long takes create tension to tell the story of the kill, a jungle where you’re not the lion.
