Emerging singer/rapper Stefan Dismond delivers a heartfelt piece he calls “inCONTRAST” just in time for St Valentine’s day. He makes use of a piano-driven backdrop which is devoid of heavy percussions and thus allows Dismond’s emotion-driven performance to truly shine bright. He takes time to explore the unpredictable dynamics between the physical and mental states of 2 individuals in a relationship. He makes note of the fact that both parties may exhibit differences but eventually, this can be overshadowed by true, pure untainted love.

Enchanted by artists with constantly changing sounds and aesthetics like Toro y Moi, Frank Ocean, and Childish Gambino, Dismond aspires to one day write a rock-opera rivaling Jesus Christ Superstar, in terms of both quotability and blasphemy. Until then, however, he continues to craft a unique blend of hip-hop, indie R&B, and synth pop from his bedroom.
