2018 was a great year for hip-hop. I had a hard time narrowing down my list of The Top 18 Albums of 2018. I could have easily done a Top 25 list, but I had to follow with tradition.

I’ve been doing this countdown for 10 years now. It started back in 2009 when I thought it would be clever to do a Top 9 instead of a Top 10 list because the Top 9 of 2009 just sounded better. So, every year, I have to add one album. Some of the past years have been difficult. This one was easy. And the Top 3 weren’t even a question. They are all bangers.

Let me know what you think of this list. Do you agree with my picks? Is there anything I slept on that you think I should check out. Hit me up on social media to let me know. And use the hashtag #WIBRapRadio.

Thanks for listening, Happy New Year!
