After releasing records with BJ The Chicago Kid and Royce Da 5’9, Peter James  polished up his “Resistance” EP. The Detroit native releases the final single off that EP titled “Wear The Crown”.

The contemporary R&B record describes the overwhelming, yet relatable stress encountered in relationships from putting each other down to breaking down.  James harmonizes about repeated patterns of going back and forth with misconceptions and just wanting to start anew, after all she still ‘wears the crown’.

Peters’ deliverance over jazzy soulful tones is sure to have listeners route for this couple. Stream “Wear The Crown” here.
