Rising UK rapper Timmy came onto the scene via the TV screen as he starred in Channel 4’s Banged Up programme, which dived into his life and his stint in prison. After his time off the show, he released his debut single “Freestyle” which garnered him some attention and now he followed it up with his latest release titled “Speedy Gonzales”. The single is a certified drill banger that blends dark haunting beats with Timmy’s vivid lyrics that focus on his life experiences and the concept of brotherhood in these tough times. His flow is edgy and the way he framed his lines is authentic and quite unapologetic as well. The accompanying video has a cinematic and urgent feel with its dark aesthetics and scenic shots that capture Timmy in an abandoned fortress type-prison.

Timmy is currently working on his debut EP Back and Forth, which will be released next year.
