Thought I’d throw up a throwback since I haven’t done one in a long, long time. Anyway this is an awesome jam I keep revisiting, from way back in 1995 as the Golden Era started slipping away from us. From the Dynamite Soul 12″, this jaunt from Artifacts and featuring Mad Skillz has all the hallmarks of classic underground hip-hop, from the funky loop dug up from the crates to that enthusiastic NY flow.
