Prolific and underrated rapper Oddisee dropped his latest project Iceberg this year and has now given us a visual into one of the songs from the LP titled You Grew Up. In this animated video, Oddisee confronts the uncomfortable but basic truth of untainted innocence in a child and how that is smeared with biases as the child grows older. You basically get to see the concurrent innocence of children from different backgrounds becoming affected as they transition into young adults. One of the strong traits of the DC rapper is his ability to speak on topical issues that quite unpopular and he has been quite consistent with it. regardless of the fact that he continues to float under the radar of so many people, Oddisee’s style remains picturesque and his lyrical dexterity remains a strong asset to him.
