Emerging Bay Area-based singer/rapper/songwriter Jammy is carving his path in the music game with his brand of conscious future R&B/soul/hip-hop infused style. His latest release, “Slide,” is a laidback, moody R&B cut that highlights Jammy’s offbeat and laidback vocal style over a dreamy soundscape ripe with lush textures and punchy drums. The record is all about finding peace and solace in a potentially shaky situation.
The accompanying black and white visual uses a performance-driven theme that captures Jammy in his element and blends some engaging shots.
Jammy first entered the scene with his debut EP, No More Drugs, in 2017 and has since gone on to open for Bow Wow, Yeek, Leven Kali, Tia Corine, Too Short, and 24k Golden, among others. He is currently working on his upcoming EP, TWINSKi.
