Irish producer Odd Numbers links up with fellow Dublin-based emcee Wallfella for this solid collaboration titled “Blue.” Bolstered by Odd Numbers’ crafty production ripe with slick vocal chops, moody textures, and a crunchy groove, Wallfella takes the listener down memory lane as he recounts a fateful summer of club-hopping, binge drinking, and self-reflection under the influence.

 

Wallfela is on his square here and delivers a vivid tale in his unique unapologetic manner and impassioned flow that blends perfectly with the upbeat backdrop.

“Blue” is the final single from the producer’s upcoming debut album, The Golden Éire Tapes Vol. 1. Funded by the Arts Council, the project features an eclectic mix of some of Ireland’s most prominent artists and some more underground acts, wholly produced by Odd Numbers.
