Detroit’s rising son Nolan The Ninja is back doing what he knows best – dropping solid gems- but on this one he goes behind the boards and concocts what he calls “lo-fi flips.” which is a 20 track beat-tape/remix project. He takes classic cuts from several genres including Hip-Hop,RnB and pop and gives them the lo-fi boom-bap treatment with excellent results. Waste little time and get with the program right away.

Brand new beat tape from Detroit, Michigan mc/producer Nolan The Ninja. This dynamic project just premiered on Mass Appeal, here are some words that Nolan had to say about the project: “All of the tracks on lo-fi flips. are reminiscent of my upbringing. I grew up on R&B, hip-hop & even a little pop/alternative. I just wanted to create an instrumental project that people could vibe to & most importantly, reflect on classic tracks. Initially, I only made remixes for live beat sets but after a while, people began inquiring about them so I said, what the hell? Plus, it’s a continuation of my previous beat tape, lo-fi loops. that dropped in 2015.”
