Emerging emcee Nick Harrison makes his entry on TWIB with an uplifting gem called “The Real World” where he ponders on the myriad of issues plaguing the world as a whole.

Backed by a solemn production made up of lush somber guitars, punchy boom-bap drums, and warm basslines, Harrison gives us a day in his life from a first-person view. We get to see the things he sees and the way he feels about the way the world is and we can all agree that things are far from being the same. Lyrics like “We hate each other if we don’t fucking think the same so I just roll another up and I just drift away” peers into his views and need for escapism from a chaotic world. The track sure packs a punch and it’s something we all can vibe to as the new year rolls by.
