Atlanta-based Detroit emcee MRK SX breaks down the domino effect of having a big “Ego” on his new single. The track is a self-examination of some sorts as he looks within himself and others regarding their ego.

Backed by a punchy and somewhat cinematic backdrop, he carefully details how inner pride can harm us and prevent one from getting opportunities amongst other things. From jealousy to envy and then some, he gives quite a wide range of situations concerning the ego and its downsides. It’s very relatable and also honest from start to finish.

“Ego” is the lead single from the album NRMLZ GRWTH.  Get “Ego” on Apple Music//Deezer
