The soul/hip-hop trio Lo Village is back with a new single “Terry Crews” which dives into being true to one’s roots regardless of the money and fame.

The title actually says it all and we all know the antics Mr. Crews has been into for a while now. The Maryland trio tackles it from their own perspective of being grounded at all times. The track is bolstered by a smooth alluring texture and solid bounce courtesy of Frankie Scoca while Ama, Kane, and Tyler exchange thoughtful verses. The track also comes with a clip from an interview between CNN’s Don Lemon and Terry Crews on the outro, the final result is a timely and potent statement from the trio. The money not gon’ save you.
