Lafayette Stokely – Black Excellence (Birth of Stokely)

Lafayette Stokely is not losing steam. After his collaboration with JohnNY U and dropping the visuals for his thought provoking ‘Scared of death‘, he returns with this soulful mellow jam channeling the spirit of Kwame Ture (aka Carmichael Stokely). Weaving between Handbook‘s soulful chops and hard hitting syncopated drums, Lafayette assures the listener that he’s not one to be toyed with with his distinctive laid back smooth flow and sincerity on ‘Black Excellence‘.
