Khemist newest effort is a stripped-down, organic display of honesty and unfiltered emotions and experiences. Aptly titled “Resignation,” Khemist makes use of an acoustic guitar to serve as the canvas for his vivid stories that center around the challenges he faces as an independent artist trying to break through the shackles. from the jump, you can hear the pained emotions as they engulf the lush guitar strings which add a very soulful punch to the lyrics.

In 2019, Khemist released his first official single and music video for “I Been on a Budget”. The single is the first single from his EP, Khemtrails which is due out later this year. Khemist recently won the grand prize in the International John Lennon Songwriting Contest for an unreleased song titled “Upright”. He has been writing songs for 18 years and first picked up the guitar in 2017.
