London-based Afro-Fusion Visionary-Nigerian Beeteecee (Ben-Tobi-Cyrus) caught our ears with his new single “Teacher.” The track blends heartfelt songwriting with a distinctive West African style with a crispy sheen of UK Afro-Fusion. Against a guitar-driven backdrop with shuffling drum grooves and a warm texture and chords to match, Beeteecee delivers an authentic performance ripe with expressive flows influenced by rap, dancehall and modern R&B. The track finds the artist pouring adoration on a lover and how her positive attributes helped him grow as a man. He doesn’t mince his words as he sings  “Your love got me speaking so eloquently / You’re my teacher, I’m your student,” with such fervour and passion.

“Teacher” is Beeteecee’s follow-up to his previous release, “Story of My Life.”
