Rising Canadian singer/songwriter Katie Tupper started her career as a member of the Saskatoon collective vbnd and now she is on a solo mission. She is currently working on her new EP and in the interim, she delivers the single “Comfort” and its accompanying visuals. The track is a seamless blend of rich soul aesthetics with pop sensibilities with her own distinct twist. The production by Connor Seidel is sublime, summery and groovy while Tupper easily carries the track with her commanding vocals. The record dwells on the blossoming feelings towards a close friend and knowing things would not go beyond the friendship stage, she settles with the comfort of the platonic situation. Kts far from being rueful or sad but rather a celebration of the untainted love between two friends.

The accompanying visuals makes use of bright set pieces and performance shots of Katie in her element.
