Welsh singer/songwriter Malan makes her first appearance on our site with her latest single “Picking Petals” which is taken from her forthcoming EP. The singer first came on the scene during the height of the lockdown with a couple of singles and now she is working with a multi-talented instrumentalist Nathan Williams who helps craft the perfect backdrop for her alluring vocals.

“Picking Petals” is a laidback reflective love ballad that sees Malan detailing the dynamics of unrequited love from a playful perspective. The keys have a mellow jazzy vibe and are solemn while the slow groove is all underpinned by Malan’s earworm melodies and heartwarming vocal runs.
