Midwestern alternative rapper Karras teams up with singer Eva Joy on his new release “Thorny.” The laid back moody track is a thought-provoking insight into the inescapable flaws of parents being passed down to their offsprings.

It is quite riveting as Karras dives into the delicate issue of abuse and gives a story of a father dealing with his inner demons while trying to hold on to the fledgling relationship with his wife. Eva Joy comes through with a heartfelt punchy chorus as well.

Karras’s debut album Karrasmatic was released Nov. 27, 2020, followed by the single “Stations” on Dec. 30 of the same year.
