“Reagan Era Terrors” is a socially politically charged track by DC rapper J.I.Bri. Over a cinematic backdrop, the rapper reminds us of the various political missteps of the 40th president of America and its domino effects on POC.
This song is a defiant middle finger from the perspective of three talented rappers who were raised in the ’80s.
ECHO – “עפה עליך”
Israeli producer/rapper/singer ECHO thrills us with some smooth summer melodic vibes on her new single “עפה עליך.” The track is quite alluring and soothing. Part of Echo’s new album dropping 10/10.
Tre Butler x Yaminah – “Same Place”
Tre Butler shares the visuals for his heartfelt single “Same Place” which features singer Yaminah. Over Six6th Ave’s smooth guitar-laden backdrop, the rapper takes time to reflect on the growth and overcoming personal struggles. The record was recorded in LA in the springtime and the video aims to match the same feeling.

Soulsnacks x Elzhi x 60 East x A-F-R-O x DJ Ready Cee – “Merlot”
“Merlot” is a solid posse cut brought to our attention by producer Soulsnacks who taps the assistance of Detroit’s Elzhi,60 East, super lyricist A-F-R-O, and DJ Ready Cee. The result is a bar-heavy display from each emcee who delivers the goods in copious amounts while DJ Ready Cee slices up the chorus with smooth scratches. This is Soulsnacks’ 4th single released since August.
Declaime – “God’s Grace”
Eclectic Oxnard rapper and singer/songwriter Declaime shares the visuals for his song “God’s Grace” The laidback reflective track is ripe with insightful and heartfelt lyrics that listeners can learn something from. Over a sublime and somber backdrop, Declaime delivers his signature off-beat melodic style that has been part of his repertoire since the mid-90s. “God’s Grace” is taken from his new project The Last Stand, which houses legendary features, such as Latoiya Williams, Joseph “lovedragon” Liemburg, Juan Lobo, Braxton Cook, Ayun Bassa, and others. Cleveland emcee 2ssaint teams up with Philly producer Martronimous for this lyric dense head-nodding track titled “RABBIT.” The production is quite engaging and has driving energy which suits 2ssaint’s expressive flow and thought-provoking lyrics.

“Jewelry” is an engaging collaboration between Var Brown, Rinchere, and Fritzo. Backed by a somber moody backdrop, the trio delivers evocative performance ripe with hard-hitting bars.

“Roll It, Smoke It, Spark It” is the newest release from veteran rapper Papa J. Ruiz and rising LA-based producer NugLife. The track is a smoky cinematic record that really grips the ears. Papa J. Ruiz is in full swing as well and delivers a vivid lyrical display and he is joined by Vel the Wonder who throws in her own thoughts on wax. “Roll It, Smoke It, Spark It” is taken from the duo’s 3 track collab EP 3 GRAMS.
Alex Mali – “Heart Strings”
