Brooklyn’s rising R&B artist JUSTY unveils her new album Pain With Benefits, a 10 track body of work that dwells on the dynamics of love, pain, inner strength, and more.

The body of work is bolstered by the soothing jazz-infused r&b production that shines brightly against JUSTY’s melodic style and evocative lyrics. The project opens with “I’m Learning to Live” which features Fereal Dez on the assist. The jazzy backdrop is undeniable as JUSTY delivers a soothing melodic performance peppered with her versatile rap flows. On the somber “Last Love Letter” she makes use of a lo-fi/soulful backdrop to reflect on love and the variables that come along with the feelings. She switches the energy on the “Sister, Sister (Interlude)” where she goes for an ethereal sound but her knack for painting graphic images will never go unnoticed as she draws us into her world showing the good and bad elements of life.

In a nutshell, Pain With Benefits is sonic therapy from start to end and captures JUSTY’s life in a snapshot for listeners to really see what makes her tick.
