Toronto-based rapper JRoberts returns to our site with his latest effort titled “Guillotine”. The hard-nosed rapper is back in business with this hard-hitting gritty track made by producer Imperetiv who makes use of eerie and ominous sounds underpinned by slow but punchy drum grooves. JRobertssure sounds in his element here and proceeds with a plethora of vivid and graphic bars such as “Heart of a lion, taking charge like am building with ions/electrifying like the death-row logo defining“. He is not alone and Asun Eastwood joins him in the second verse with an equally face-slapping verbal display.
