Jamaica Queens emcee Jamar Carr delivers a gripping track in the form of his single “Nothing New”. Utilizing a somewhat sombre, cinematic soundscape for his lyrical setting, Jamar Carr presents a world view that most rappers shy away or try to sugar coat with their cookie cutter, flash in a pan raps. Instead, he details the situation faced by young black males in the society that is somewhat structured to keep them down in the dumps. While stating these facts, he also acknowledges that fact that the happenings are not anything new but surely someone has to call a spade a spade.

Jamar Carr is an upcoming artist who is  set to debut his first album titled “Politically Incorrect: Wealth in The Ghetto“. “Nothing New” is the first official single off the project.
