Hua Li 化力 aka the one and only half-Chinese, half-militant, half-rapper of your heart is back with a brand new offering titled “Part Time Muses”. The track sees her working with longtime collaborator Gloze who laces her with his take on 90s R&B with a modern twist. The was birthed from Hua Li 化力’s rendition of a classical impressionistic, chromatic piano line which Gloze interweaves into his dreamy, atmospheric soundscape underpinned by her expressive vocal runs and impassioned raps. Here, she looks back at slept-on pleasures, and near misses with a lovelorn perspective.

The accompanying visuals were directed by Montreal-based director Yang Shi who helped bring the song to life with it’s engaging offbeat cut scenes and performance shots that follow Hua Li 化力 across different spots in Plaza St. Hubert.
