It is often said that the third time is a charm and from what we have here from Green Hypnotic, it sure is. As the year comes to a close, he unleashes a full-length third installment of the Bando Midori series. ‘Bando Midori 3’ showcases Hypnotic’s versatile style with polished, hard-hitting beats and varied subject matter. The seasoned emcee still retains the gritty and braggadocios element on tracks like “Cruisin” with C’nee Starlette playing the Bonnie to Hypnotic’s Clyde. “Nothing Sweet” is a statement where he warns the opposition not to underestimate him as he sends warning shots over a  mellow lush piano-driven backdrop. “Resentment” sees Hypnotic in a somewhat vulnerable state as he pours his anger on wax. Over the rumbling, reflective beat he calls out his absentee father for what he did to the family and how he won’t let that situation stop him from reaching his goals. The only other feature comes from his childhood friend and longtime collaborator Chibz on “Hold Up”. The track has a smooth, R&B vibe and helps change the mood of the project with it’s dreamy and bright texture.

In all ‘Bando Midori 3’ will appeal to a wide spectrum of listeners who have an inclination for lush, hard-hitting trap beats that would rattle the speakers and melodic flows. Hit the play button and get it on all DSPs here.
