LA-based eclectic artist Duckwrth drops a new 8 track EP titled SG8* which is a display of his versatility. The project is a mix of different sounds and it’s titled after the SuperGood brand he created and the evolution to his 2020 album of the same name. The project boasts production by WaveIQ (Jaden Smith, Goldlink) and Loshendrix (SZA, Brent Faiyaz, Kehlani), SG8* is an ode to post-pandemic joy and rising above the inherent anxiety associated with the era.

From the uplifting and carefree vibe of “We Outside” to the warm funky grooves of “No chill,” Duckwrth brings a refreshing and different style to the forefront as he seamlessly blends sharp humor, fiery raps alongside soothing catchy melodic runs. Other stand-out tracks include the downtempo “Mask Off,” and bouncy “4k.” To be honest, the project flows seamlessly into each other, and it’s a perfect summer-infused body of work that everyone can rock with.
