The emerging rapper who goes by the moniker Dad The Rapper caught our ears with the heartfelt and heartwarming single titled “Dear Son”. The reflective tune sees him penning a letter to his firstborn child, explaining quite a number of things to him. From how he met his mother, his aspirations and plans for him, and much more. His approach is candid and emotional as he leaves quite a lot of gems for his son to live by should incase he couldn’t tell him in person.

He adds that he wrote the song during his wife’s 1st pregnancy and was composed as an open letter should in case he is not around to deliver the message to his son in person but more importantly he want to give his son a part of him
