Brighton, UK based experimental producer  Asta Hiroki teams up with singer/songwriter Muhsinah on his newest effort titled “Between Love and Happiness”. The record is a smooth blend of jazz/soul which rises to a crescendo with its engulfing hazy textures which augments Muhsinah’s angelic vocals that cut through the mix like a Katana blade. The Washington DC-based vocalist goes ahead to break down the tough moments in relationships with her sleek, alluring vocal tone.

Hiroki sure approaches the production from the left-field as he layers his compositions with a wide variety of elements exuding a retro-futuristic feel.
