Manchester-based producer and visual artist  Catch92′s “Wake” gets a remix by Asta Hiroki and the result is a mind bending piece that blends off-kilter sound design with moody textures. The slow build-up and layering of sounds are excellent and quite dynamic enough to hold the listener’s attention from start to finish.

The original version of “Wake”  is from Catch92‘s Wander EP which was inspired by the Lewis Carroll literary classic and popular culture mainstay – Alice in Wonderland. Now the EP gets reworked by a clutch of production talents affiliated with Folded Music to put their own spin on proceedings, starting with label founder – Asta Hiroki.
