Denver, AG-based Vermont-born producer AG Flux shares his new project entitled  Long Winter which caught our attention. The opening record “Below Freezing” is cinematic, moody, and soothing at the same time. From the crisp riffs. ethereal strings, low tone keys, and punchy drum grooves, AG Flux weaves through a plethora of sounds that are layered seamlessly. This is followed by the ominous-sounding “The Interior” which makes use of thick pulsating basslines, crunchy trap drums, and airy synths to match. The track “Beyond Reach” has a weird vocal-like synth, rich guitar plucks and snapping drums while “Cover Face” has a relaxing and soothing vibe. On “Snowday,” we get a reflective string layered over punchy drums which progresses into other sublime elements as well.
