It’s a tough job as we sift through a ton of high-quality tracks just to settle for just 5 so we switched it up so now we curating the Top 10 Submissions. Jon Vinyl – “Dangerous”

Jon Vinyl is back with a new track titled “Dangerous”. The song serves as the lead and title track off his upcoming EP. The young singer once again delivers a sultry, melodious cut that details a blossoming love for a lady who has him wrapped around her finger. Backed by a lush, funk-laden backdrop, the Toronto, Ontario taps into our soul with his alluring harmonies and relatable content.

Big Narstie x Spice – “Pony”

Brixton grime king Big Narstie connects with Jamaica’s Queen of Dancehall Spice on this new party jam titled “Pony”. Backed by a solid, body moving backdrop the duo raise the ante with the anthemic jam as they aim to keep the party lively. As usual Narstie delivers a smooth dexterous performance while Spice’s wraps it up with an uncompromising attitude and world class vocals.
The Dego Visionz directed video opens with Narstie arriving in style in his own-branded helicopter before hitting the club for some energised performance footage. We first see Spice arrive – how else? – on horseback before the charismatic collaborators are joined by a host of dancers outside a barnyard.
The pair have both become TV stars after first making their names in music: Narstie as host of his own award-winning Channel 4 series, and Spice as a star of the VH1show ‘Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta’.
“Pony” is taken from Narstie’s forthcoming Back To Yard project, which was inspired by a visit to his family roots in Jamaica for a new Channel 4 documentary.

Passport Rav – “Malcolm on Twitter”

Passport Rav shares the visual for his previously released single “Malcolm on Twitter”. The thought-provoking record is a conceptual track that depicts the life of a modern day Malcolm X in the social media age. The visual is directed by Vincent M. Morris and follows the character(Played by Skotch Davis) in question as he traverses the highs and lows of the modern times. Get it on all DSPs.

Focus The Truth – “Northside to Southside” feat. Tony Yayo.

“Northside to Southside” is the latest entry from Focus The Truth who teams up with G-Unit’s Tony Yayo. Over a solemn, cinematic backdrop courtesy of S Eyes Finest, the duo shares their personal experiences from their various backgrounds coming from Queens. Just Domo – “Talk My Shit”

Just Domo doesn’t hold back his thoughts on the fiery track titled “Talk My Shit”. The Virginia Rapper utilizes a mid-tempo, ominous sample which he brutalizes with his uber braggadocio style. Get it on all platforms.

Gdfnthn – “PC”

Gdfnthn‘s newest visual goes beyond the norm and showcases his unorthodox style. Simply titled “PC”, the track has a percussion driven backdrop while Gdfnthn delivers his lines in a lackadiascal manner while layering it with vivid imageries. The visual is quite entertaining too with its weird characters and DIY styled aesthetics.

Big Cousin – “Bleed Respect” (feat. Evidence)” [prod. by Nottz]

Big Cousin teams up with Evidence on “Bleed Respect” while Nottz handles the boards. Evidence sets it off with his unique slow-flow demeanor while Big Cousin wraps it up with his gritty performance. The collaboration is pretty solid and showcases a no-frills, undiluted style and sets the tone for more to come from the London-based, New York-born rapper.

CJ Fly – “RUDEBWOY” feat. Joey Bada$$

Pro Era’s CJ Fly pays homage to his city and Jamaican roots on the summery-tinged cut titled “RUDEBWOY”. The cut sees him teaming with his PR head-honcho Joey Bada$$ while producer Statik Selektah laces the duo with some retro-styled goodness. CJ sets it off with his animated style mixing expert word play and a boisterous declaration, “I’m a rudebwoy , and I ain’t gonna change.”
In the video directed by David Janoff, the two MCs cruise through New York and incite all manner of ruckus as well soaking up the sun with their Jamaican fam. In addition, Pro Era Records—the label co-founded by platinum-certified critically acclaimed Brooklyn rapper Joey Bada$$—announces a global distribution and label services deal with ADA Worldwide. “RUDEBWOY” marks the first release under this new partnership.

Drillminister – “Choke”

UK Drill ambassador Drillminister once again delivers another thought-provoking piece and this time he addresses London’s air pollution. Aptly titled “Choke”, the masked rapper details how many homes in the capital are affected by high levels of air pollution due to many factors from industrialization being one of the main issues. The visual follows suit and augments the message being conveyed.
To further gain more awareness, Drillminister spoke to Sky News and BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire on the initiative to start addressing the air pollution problem in the capital. He also recently joined Jon Snow and Channel 4 News with Humphrey Milles, founder of AddressPollution.org, an air quality report website that enables homeowners to check levels of air pollution at their own address to see if they comply with or exceed the levels set by The World Health Organisation.
Through his music and TV appearances, he has weighed in on austerity, universal credit and slamming the UK government over the Brexit shambles. On BBC 1’s ‘This Week’ he delivered the first ever live performance of a Drill track on UK TV. Get it on Spotify and Apple Music.

Tori Kelly – “Pretty Fades”

Singer/songwriter Tori Kelly ‘s song “Pretty Fades” gets the Vevo LIFT treatment as we get to view the live performance. The guitar-driven piece is a heartfelt alluring piece that truly showcases the soft-voiced singer’s vocal range and dynamism.
