Definitely a case of long time no see from Canada-based MC Xolisa, who puts out A Beautiful Mind EP for your ears’ content. As I’ve said before, she has a really graceful, spoken word style – in fact one of the tracks is completely ad lib – which makes her music captivating to listen to. The self-produced nature of the EP means she has crafted it from top to bottom to suit her style, and her fingerprints are all over the record. Really fresh.
