In this edition of Know Your History, your monthly dose of hip-hop knowledge, we continue to explore dialogue tracks in hip-hop.
We started out by looking at Conversation Tracks two months ago and featured such artists as Positive K, Ice Cube and Yo-Yo, Eminem and Dr. Dre, and Zoetic Minds.
Today we feature a track that is, in itself, an argument between two rappers. We talk about the need to vent, the need to connect via conversation, interior dialogue, and sometimes how it is possible to talk too much. And of course, we do this through some amazing songs and examples.
