This has to be the toughest soulful record I have heard in a minute. Wallace, a Jazz singer from New Zealand makes her debut on WIB something beyond wonderful. The record in question Vinyl Skip channels various elements from Jazz, Hip-Hop and classic RnB nuances. Her voice is magical and I will refrain from comparing her to a certain late UK vocalist so I say Vinyl Skip is a joint that MUST be heard by all.

Please stream and share at will.

Vinyl Skip, the debut single from New Zealand born jazz singer Wallace will leave you reeling. Drawing inspiration from Little Dragon, Muhsinah, Georgia Anne Muldrow and future soul artists like Hiatus Kaiyote and Ngaiire, Wallace melds a jazz, soul, hip-hop and blues sensibility to create the positively magical VINYL SKIP.

Wallace is currently working on her debut EP, to be released later this year.
