Wallace never disappoints and once again she shows why she is one of the best indie singers out now. On her newest record titled “Frame By Frame,” she delivers an emotional-drenched and passionate performance that totally engulfs the ears. The off-kilter production and songwriting were conceived by Wallace and Danny Barwick who both take inspiration from several sources one of which was MF Doom’s “Keys To The Cuff” (quite unexpected if you asked me). The duo completely strays from the norm and deliver a solid record that engages from start to finish with its anthemic pop-driven hooks, melodious arrangement and of course the bombastic production style.
