Realityy’s “Gone” is a reflective track that explores self-belief, awareness, and the never-ending struggles a young man has to face. Against a moody piano-laden backdrop, the emcee details his experience dealing with loss, fair-weather friends and making a way out of nothing. Nino Bambino raises a toast to success in his new single “AZ ICE TEA.” The playful track boasts a catchy hook and expressive flows with lyrics filled with vivid imagery. TDSG enters our playlist with two singles, “Dark Fantasy” and “Manifest.” The former is a smooth R&B-infused track that highlights his melodic style and vivid lyricism. Here, he paints a romantic scene with that special someone. The latter continues in a similar vein, with the singer pouring adulation on the lady who caught his eye and sharing all the things he would do to keep her by his side. Christian rapper M.A.D.S.K.I.L.L reminds us to be spiritually aware and cautious of our surroundings in his new single “Shofar”. The piano-driven track is a wake-up call to reassess our spiritual lives and ensure we are living right in God’s eyes. Bosnia-born, Amsterdam-based rapper/songwriter Hari Loco enters this week’s playlist with the new single “Coming Home,” featuring Darius Dante, Souldrippin and NLE Choppa. The track is a heartfelt single about journeys, experiences, and great memories. Over a sombre guitar-laden backdrop, the emcees share their respective stories and remind listeners that no matter how far we go, home will always be there to hold us up. Zambian-born, Australia-based rapper/songwriter Kairo Yang delivers this thought-provoking and insightful track “WAR” on our playlist. Over a soulful vocal sample-driven backdorp, the rapper reflects on the modern global unrest, from wars, political and social turmoil to the rise in mental stress amongst the masses, Yang gives audiences a nuanced and profound breakdown of the situation.

Jah Gordy takes us on a trip in his new single “Coolin”. The track has a soul/jazz/hip-hop-infused backdrop and a solid drum groove that evokes the feeling of cruising on a breezy summer afternoon. Armed with his expressive flow and vivid storytelling, he takes us into his world as he makes a move on a lady who caught his eye. Germany-based singing duo Mamzer caught our ears with their latest release, “So Clear,” a resounding piece about clarity, accountability and vulnerability. The production has a moody R&B vibe with a Hip-hop groove, underpinned by sublime melodic performances and heartfelt songwriting. Canadian singer/songwriter Gracie Ella pours her frustration on wax in her new single “I.D.T.Y.L.M.” The heartfelt single finds Ella questioning the veracity of her partner’s feelings and the lack of emotional equity between them. Armed with a commanding vocal tone and expressive melodic style, Ella delivers a powerful performance ripe with emotional weight, insight and relatability. Missouri-based producer Purple Eclipse teams up with zeebo and BRUZE for his new single “Ego Umbrella,” an unapologetic look at accountability, self-assessment and the path to peace. The production features a recurring vocal sample that switches up on the hook and a punchy drum groove that matches the emcees’ lyrical pacing.

Myer Clarity and Fresh Kils‘ collaborative project OCDC, has teased fans with a handful of singles, with the latest being the title track “OCDC.” The track serves as the anthem and centrepiece for the duo’s edgy and off-kilter sound. Against Fresh Kils’ post-electronic blips, punchy drum breaks and moody textures, Myer Clarity conducts a verbal surgical operation filled with unhinged wordplay and expressive flows laced with unpredictability and authenticity. Moka Only recently put out his new album Many Pies,  and now returns with “Same Vibes,” a laidback feel-good jam that highlights the swag of a hip-hop elder statesman. Over a smooth, jazzy backdrop with a solid head-nodding drum groove, Moka Only effortlessly manoeuvres with a slick cadence, underpinned by a reflective and confident demeanour. Emerging emcee Sport Mathews struts into this week’s playlist with “Polo Sportsman (Remix),” a lyric-dense piece that blends expert sample chops and edgy lyricism. The production flips vocal samples from Alicia Keys over punchy drums while Sport Mathews gives audiences a cultural lesson on fashion, personal style and grit. Coby Williams connects with Harry Gray for “Cautious (Remix),” a heartfelt, guitar-driven R&B/hip-hop-infused cut about building connections and not rushing into love.
