Ahh I’m so pleased to see this. Yah Supreme holds a fair amount of sentimental value for me; when I was getting into the whole underground Hip Hop jam a couple of years ago his track Only Human blew me out of the water, and it still remains one of my favourites I’ve heard. Anyway he did the Hip Hop thing up until about a decade ago – I talked about it a bit here – when he then went on a kinda Hip Hop/Jazz/Soul kinda thing with the band Brohemian.

And now this is his latest venture; a real soulful track under the guise of Moonset Juice, which is a duo of Yah Supreme and the Italian guitarist and producer Michael Manzo. He was, and still remains, one of the smothest lyricists I’ve heard, and the instrumental is just as nice. You can download the track from the Moonset Juice Bandcamp (link below).
