It’s always a pleasure to watch a video from an artist you appreciate, especially when they may not be getting all the shine they deserve. DiViNe SeVeN presents the first visuals from his latest LP, INTROSPECT, that came out in August 2011, with the beautiful STILL JONESIN’ (My Ode To H.E.R.). I have to say this track holds a special place in my heart, as it was given to me as an exclusive track for my blog’s first anniversary compilation (back in the days…). I also greatly appreciate this very honest and heartfelt love letter and the soulful sample that sets the mood perfectly. The video is quite interesting as it conveys the intimate aspect of the song and gives a sense of authenticity. It’s great to see artists open up like this and spread such beautiful messages so I’m thankful to DiViNe SeVeN for this track.
