After hitting us with his face slapping single “Driving Me Single”, Sac-town emcee Velly Marsh returns with another banger titled  “Treat You Bad”. The GrabOne produced track samples a classic Jackson 5 tune to good effect as he pitches up the vocals over energetic drums while Marsh dives deep into his past as he breaks down all the good and bad portions in vivid detail.

“Treat You Bad” is the first track on his new LP ‘Dark Matter

Lovell Marshall, aka Velly Marsh, is an underground emcee from the valley of Sacramento, CA. Born in 1992, he was an understudy of the genre when lyricist were more prominent and the message of a song was more important than the beat. Velly went to American River Community College, where he received an Associate’s Degree in audio engineering in 2014. Although being from the West Coast, his sound differs from his environments peers and one would probably assume he’s from the East Coast. Velly’s first body of work, #FeelMe, was released 2014 in the form of an EP. Near the end of 2018, he released his newest project, Dark Matter, which is a 12-track lyrical dream where he refined his skills and created something truly memorable in the underground hiphop scene. Some of his biggest influences include: Immortal Technique, 50 Cent, E-40 & Snoop Dogg
