Earlier last month TWIB featured the star-studded Love & Hip Hop cast member-turned-MC DreamDoll when we wrote about her first single, “Ah Ah Ah” ft. Fivio Foreign off her highly-anticipated Life in Plastic 2 album. Since then, the single has accumulated mass acclaim, reaching the number 9 spot on Billboard’s R&B/Hip Hop song sales chart. The song also recently entered the top ten on iTunes charts. After acknowledging the chart data, DreamDoll commented on Twitter that the visual would push the song position other the edge, and TWIB is confident in that assumption.

Dripping in jewels and glow in the dark paint, DreamDoll dazzles under blacklight in the video for “Ah Ah Ah,” and Fivio Foreign executes his verse with the finesse of a thousand tanks. These two make an unconquerable duo, and you better get used to seeing more of their faces (fresh hairstyles and all). The fact that DreamDoll was able to rank high on chart data without major blog or media support is a testament to the power of an independent press. If you put your mind to it, then you can do anything. Dreamy as always, we wouldn’t expect anything but blood, sweat, and tears from this hard-working artist living her own truth. That’s how some of the best hip hop projects of our time are produced. Watch the video for “Ah Ah Ah” below:
