Toronto-based producer DJ Standfast drops a new single “While You Were Looking”, a scenic nostalgia-inducing track that captured our hearts from the moment we hit the play button. Bolstered by soul-stirring pads, crunchy drum breaks and layered sample chops, DJ Standfast thrusts us into an emotional pool laden with reflection and a touch of bliss. The track is taken from his album The Northern Letter.

German producer Nik Hahn enters our playlist with “Cenote”, a mellow pop-infused lofi track comprising a rich guitar arrangement with bright plucky synths and soft drum grooves.
New Stream Brass Band – “Party Time”.
Singapore’s first-ever New Orleans-style brass band New Stream Brass Band caught our ears with their uplifting release “Party Time”, a celebratory horn-driven track that captures the fun aspect of life and the good times. The track is taken from their debut album. The band was formed sometime in 2014 and comprises instrumentalists from different backgrounds with a unifying love for jazz, funk, Latin, and hip-hop with a distinctive local flavour.
borgoloco – “1 Double Aught 3”.
Producer borgoloco steps up to bat with this thumping cinematic beat titled “1 Double Aught 3”. The track comprises layered guitar licks, scenic textures and a prevalent bassline and crunchy drum breaks that keeps the head nodding from start to finis.

~ronzoni~ enters our playlist with this new release “Hello,”. The record is a soulful piece that showcases layered sampling techniques that evoke pure nostalgia. From the jazz-soul elements, Japanese pop-soul vocals, retro sound effects and a sturdy drum groove, the track is a solid one to add to your summer playlist.
Dunlur x EtchDee – “Fortelling”.
Production duo Dunlur and EtchDee team up for “Fortelling”, a mellow piano-driven piece comprising downtempo trap drums and bright bell-synths. Overall, it has a throwback video game feel as well.
The Last Nation – “Nothing Stays Forever”
The Last Nation taps into our emotions with “Nothing Stays Forever”, a soul-stirring lofi-soul track comprising sounds of nature, rich guitar licks and solemn riffs that come together to create a reflective ambient for listeners to revel in.
Matcha Teas – “Bring Me To Taipei”
Matcha Teas caught our attention with “Bring Me To Taipei”, an experimental lofi-soul track with jazzy elements. The live improv piano arrangements are bolstered by a head-nodding groove, rich guitar licks and sublime pads to match.
Zycix – “Beautiful Meadows”.
We received another warm and comforting tune from producer Zycix in the form of the single “Beautiful Meadows”. The track has a cinematic feel and an overwhelming emotional aesthetic as well.
casey plays the keyboard – “the fountain”
Producer casey plays the keyboard has a peculiar moniker that we seem to take a liking to and his new release “the fountain” is something everyone should get to hear. The track has elements of lofi-soul with cinematic textures and an overall introspective vibe.
vhskid. – “Loving That Sunshine”
vhskid. returns to our playlist with “Loving That Sunshine”, a perfect summer-drenched piece that reminds us of the good memories we created during the warmest season of the year.
Socco Loop – “Shoreline”
“Shoreline” is a reflective track gifted to us by emerging producer Socco Loop who returns to our playlist after a while. The track comprises lush piano arrangements with brooding string pads and airy orchestral vocal runs that adds a solemn feel to the entire vibe.
