Veteran UK hip hop artist Unkle Festa takes ample time to cover the issue of knife crime and gang violence in London on his new single “Out Your Mind”. Over a piano-driven backdrop, Unkle Festa brings the listener into the mix of things as he details the effects of knife crime on the society at large.

Blacksmith – “Peace”

UK emcee Blacksmith drops the visual for his song “Peace” which serve as a follow up to his previous singles “Represent” with Leaf Dog and “Through The Melody” with Deli Rowe. Blacksmith is all about “Peace” and also brought in heavy names such as Rakaa of Dilated Peoples and Marc 7 of Jurassic 5, Knytro and AFT Records head honcho Carasel to help share the message of peace.
The video was shot across Bristol and Los Angeles with Blacksmith traveling out to film on location with Rakaa & Marc and the song has each artist representing what ‘Peace’ means to them, whether that’s politics and protests on home soil, or gang warfare and injustices across the pond: a real message of peace and unity is delivered throughout. The video also features over 100 appearances filmed worldwide of people coming together to throw up peace signs for the project including the likes of Romesh Ranganthan, JME, Klashnekoff and many more. Curtacy – Phonics.

LA by way of Toronto raised Curtacy is an emcee/poet who shares his new song titled “Phonics” with us. Over a gritty production, Curtacy delivers a raw performance with his somewhat fiery style laced with braggadocio and personal elements. The self-produced song is taken from his self-titled debut LP, Curtacy, released on June 2nd, 2019.

Curtacy was born in South Asia (of Afghan, Iranian, Indian and Pakistani descent) and started making beats at 13 and began writing less than a year later, becoming a published poet by 15.

Wex! The Master – “RAIN GON FALL” (FEAT. Nina Rohse)

Broward County emcee Wex! The Master sure piqued our interest with his song “RAIN GON FALL”. A smooth self-searching track that dwells on life struggles and all. The track also features the smooth vocals of single Nina Rohse.

Chilly Winters – “All I Need” ft. Bizarre.

Chilly Winters & Bizarre team up for the track “All I Need”. Consensus – “Anyway”.

UK emcee Consensus shares his new single “Anyway” which has a gloomy, cinematic feel. His style is quite different and unique as he doesn’t go for the expected and keeps it pretty original. This track is  about watching the world in chaos and controversy but keeping inner peace. “Anyway” is taken from his 2019 EP ‘Controversé’

 

 

 

Kaleidoscopes – “Say to You.”

 

Kaleidoscopes is the moniker of the female duo (rapper LivFree and vocalist Keira Nova) who blend a solid mix of soul, hip-hop, and R&B. Their new single “Say to You.” is a smooth gem that is love-laden and soothing with its rich guitar riffs, groovy rhythm, and alluring melodies. The two compliment each other with their unique styles as LivFree kicks it off with a powerful verse peppered by Nova’s honeyed vocals.

Atticus Lane – “Coca-Cola.”

Budding rapper/vocalist Atticus Lane shows us what makes him tick on his new self-produced single “Coca-Cola.” Backed by a solemn guitar riff, Lane puts his emotions on wax as he stays candid from start to finish without pulling punches.
