Gypsy – Number 9.

 

Gypsy delivers once again her unorthodox style of hiphop on her new track “Number 9”. Over a booming trap beat(Produced by Matty Beats ), she gets down and dirty on the track with her unpredictable lyrics and fiery vocal style. With lines like “…Too legit for your shit, yeah its hammer time…” and off-the -cuff references to Indiana Jones, Star Wars and more, Gypsy hopes to spread love through self reinforcement.

 

 

 

Poldoore – A Brand New Day (feat. ASM & Balkan Bump).

 

Belgian DJ/producer Poldoore delivers a groovy, tropical hip-hop single called “A Brand New Day” that features acrobatic bars from ASM and signature horns courtesy of Balkan Bump. On the heels of “Just Like A Melody”, it’s a masterfully composed cut that also serves as the second taste of Poldoore’s forthcoming full-length, Mosaic. Slated to release in May, the record serves as a bridge between the past and future with an emphasis on diverse sounds ranging from electro-funk to ‘70s soul.

Rap duo Jesse The Tree & Slitty Wrists take it back the essence on their new song “G.L.O.W.” Over a dark backdrop the duo deliver heavy bars in tandem reminiscent of the golden era. “G.L.O.W.” is off their collaborative project entitled Asthma. Asthma is a collaborative project from two artists with similar visions of the world. Budding rapper Sixteenleo brings a new vibe to the list on his new single “Rick James”. He employs a piano-driven trap beat and details his hustle to the top using off the cuff references and a youthful drive to make the song more appealing.

 

 

 

 

RYBE – Freedom Rider.

 

RYBE is the newest sister duo(Regan Aliyah and Ryan Asher ) bringing back that good old message oriented hip-hop. On their new track “Freedom Rider”, the duo use an anthemic backdrop as the driving force for their powerful and empowering lyrics. They tackle poignant issues ranging from politics, women’s empowerment, race relations amongst other things. This unapologetic hip hop anthem is meant to provoke thought and inspire change while promoting equality, confidence, self-love, and encouragement.

RYBE is the hottest new sister duo with an international following resulting from Disney and numerous concert, TV and commercial appearances. Regan Aliyah, of Rybe, currently stars on Disney’s “Club Mickey Mouse,” a reboot of the 40-year classic, “The Mickey Mouse Club,” responsible for stars such as Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, and Ryan Gosling. They grew up in a musical family, whose combined professional credits included Gladys Knight, David Foster, Michael Bolton, Janet Jackson, Rihanna and more. These fourth-generation performers are, also, the nieces of “The Get Down,” “Jurassic World 2” and “Detective Pikachu” star, Justice Smith and granddaughters of 80’s Mercury Records, Funk group, The Honey B’s.

Okoro returns with a poignant record “Bird’s Eye View” that would get you thinking while rocking your head like no man’s business. After dropping the poignant record “Nothin’ 2 Lose” a week ago, LB199X returns with another gem of a track. The song in question is titled “I Thought About It” sees the emcee dwell on the issues plaguing him from fake friends, inner demons and then some.

Neak delivers the visual for his single “Legacy”. The video is aimed to highlight musical greats who’ve created the platform for our generation to freely be who we are. He adds ” Without the likes of legends such as James BrownCurtis Mayfield2Pac, etc. there would not be a space for artists like myself to create.” This music video is to honor the Legacy laid before us within the music industry.

DBM – Nefertiti In My House.

DBM takes storytelling to another level on his new song “Nefertiti In My House”. The song deals with the rapper who comes home to find a strange woman in his house and the story switches up from there on. On the track, he shower praises on the lady and shows the listener why he is enamoured by her presence.
