It’s a tough job as we sift through a ton of high-quality tracks just to settle for just 5 so we switched it up so now we curating the Top 10 Submissions. Now that is what we call dedication, so sit back relax and get familiar with these acts.

Space Opera – Celeste.

French Electro-Hip Hop duo known as Space Opera set things off this week with their new record titled “Celeste”. The instrumental is very cinematic and somewhat minimalistic in style as well as the lead rap vocal sits with precision on top of it all. “Celeste” is a single from their sophomore EP “Intermission”.

Dee Wallz – Sinaloa.

Dee Wallz returns with a story of epic proportions on his new Latin-tinged single titled “Sinaloa”.  The rapper takes the listener on an international adventure as he details his run in with an mysterious lady. Hit the play button and listen through to hear the very climatic ending

 

Josh? – Show Me Love.

After a three-year hiatus, emerging emcee Josh? drops a new gritty song titled “Show Me Love”. On this one, he lends Ghostface Killah’s Tone’s Rap”  instrumental and does his thing over it.

 

Jamar Carr – PAIN (feat. Bianca Sings).

Jamar Carr comes through with another poignant, heartfelt record aptly titled “Pain” featuring singer Bianca Sings. Over a solemn/soulful backdrop, he shares inntimate details of his personal life and then some while Bianca Sings ties it up with a soulful chorus.

 

 

 

 

Midas.Gold – Passions..

US-born, Brisbane based emcee Midas. Gold bursts through the list with his own unique take on the term “Passions”.  He blends the vibrant sounds of  UK Garage and Drum & Bass courtesy of producer James Angus and delivers a fiery performance that exudes the attribute of the title.

 

 

Kosha Dillz – Other Side of Happiness ft. Alvarez Kings

 

Kosha Dillz shifts gears on this new single titled “Other side of happiness” which dwells on broken relationships and everything that comes with it. Once again he teams up with the Alvarez Kings who help add a smooth-pop element to the already moving production. Get the audio on Spotify

 

 

MadeByDubs – Gray.

MadeByDubs drops visuals for his song “Gray”. The emcee once again shows us what makes him tick as he dwells on his worries, hopes, and dreams in the minimalistic visual.

 

 

Troy Ave – “Ice Cream”

Troy Ave teams up with directors White Ape Films for the bright visuals for his song “Ice Cream”. The NY emcee keeps it lowkey on this one as he delivers a laid-back flow over the mellow soundscape. However don’t get it twisted as he doesn’t waste time in putting the naysayers and nonbelievers in their places with a satisfying thud

 

 

Mozado – Hellacopters.

Producer Mozado takes a huge step into the limelight as he delivers his new song “Hellacopters” which is also the first time he is rapping over his own beats.

Bridesmen – Someone Who Loves Me

LA Based singer Kenton Chen aka Bridesmen shakes it up a bit with some RnB/soul vibes on his new song “Someone who loves me”. The record is a heartfelt, emotion-driven piece that dwells on the inner workings of love and the complexities we all face when we are deep in it. The visual is pretty novel and sees several individuals lip syncing the song reminiscent of Michael Jackson’s “Black and White”

 

 

Joey BASE – Act Like You Know Me.

Joey BASE  drops the visual for his newest single titled “Act Like You Know Me”. The 27-year-old Musician from South London with a Congolese heritage goes for a commercial appealing sound on this record as he teams up with producer J Rocs. The video shot by Chas Appeti features Big Brother celebrity star Charley Uchea from 2009 series.

 

 

iSojah – Gotchu (featuring Greg Owens).

Columbus OH-based emcee iSojah teams up with producer/emcee Greg Owens on the soulful record titled “Gotchu”. The summer tinged record has a solid soulful vibe and head nodding groove that is quite undeniable. Hit the play button and get familiar with the duo.

 

 

BRYN – DRUNK & WAVEY ft Dreezy.

 

Rising South London sensation BRYN drops the video for new track ‘Drunk & Wavey’ ft. Dreezy. The upbeat song showcases BRYN’s melody laced vocal style that is quite alluring and fiery.  The visual was directed by KC Locke (Skepta, IAMDDB) and shot in LA with hot US rapper and face of an up-and-coming femcee generation, Dreezy, the video captures this groundbreaking UK/US female collaboration with BRYN & Dreezy  taking in the sights of LA and performing together in a number of different scenic locations.
