Swedish songwriter/singer SHY Nodi pops up on our radar with his new melodic record titled “No Vibe” (his sophomore single to be precise). The record is a blend of RnB/trap and downtempo styles that makes for an interesting song where he pushes the envelope of his main genre as a singer.  The record is pretty poignant too as he dwells on cutting loose from a destructive relationship.

“No Vibe” is taken from his debut mini album which will be out in 2019. Regarding the artist debut, he adds – “This solo project is very special to me, a free space where I can be brutally honest and vulnerable to myself and the world. I want people to be able to get to know me through my music.”

As an artist, SHY Nodi shows a darker side to himself, in strong contrast to the pop and house hits that he has written for artists such as The Chainsmokers, Astrid S, NOTD, Mike Perry, Jess Glynne and NEIKED. ‘No Vibe’ is based around melodic synths, coupled with heavy atmospheric beats, drawing on influences such as 6LACK, Majid Jordan and Miguel.
