Emerging UK artist Tobi Adey has been releasing a slew of music that explores his life and experiences and on his new release “Visions”, he returns to rare form with his distinct flow and relatable songwriting. Bolstered by a sombre soundscape made up of rich guitar riffs, moody pads and crunchy drum grooves, Tobi delivers a gripping melodic performance ripe with insightful bars peppered by relatable and abstract themes that center upon salvation and finding one’s true North. Lines like  “The lizard travels, mastered the art of deploying tragedy/ Fallacy fallible, Pardon my tone/ The pharisee parable, The yeast infect the vulnerable/ Collect the coin for cashier calibre, My mind trying to calculate the blessing” is as graphic and poetic as they come and it’s a showcase of Tobi’s masterful pen game.
