Veteran rapper/songwriter Consequence teams up with the legendary Chuck D for this thought-provoking and reflective tune titled “What Has America Done.” The song comes on the heels of the recent USA Presidential election and addresses the current state of affairs as regards POC and minorities. Consequence digs deep into the topic reminding audiences of the trials and tribulations of African American in a nation built on tears, blood and sweat. The visual is harrowing as well and the use of figurative set pieces and motifs adds gut-wrenching impact to the insightful lyrics from Consequence.

“What Has America Done” will be included in the deluxe edition of Nice Doing Business With You (which will include seven new tracks) which will be released on 11.22.24. The deluxe version features appearances from Con’s frequent collaborator Kanye West (who guests on “No Apologies,” and produces “Bloodstain”), Chris Rock, YNW Melly, Tony Williams and Con’s son Caiden The Crownholder. Prezence x 33 – “Taxation is Theft”.

Multi-faceted singer/songwriter Prezence teams up with 33 for this thought-provoking and enlightening track “Taxation is Theft.” As the title suggests, it dives into the taxation system enforced on citizens by the government and the burden it places on lives. The lyrics are quite insightful and give a different perspective on how one should be able to live their life without undue and mounting financial pressure indirectly caused by underhanded policies. The main takeaway is Prezence has pledged not to contribute to the ongoing war in Gaza, NATO-backed Ukrainian proxy war against Russia, and other black ops around the world with his hard-earned money.
